“We’re beautiful in our way, ‘cause evil makes no mistakes. We’re on the right track, baby, we were born this way!” Musical Theatre Productions closes our 2019-2020 Season returning to the Wave with SOMETHING WICKED: A Villainess Revue, featuring all of the bad girls that you love to hate!

Join us in Club Inferno, Hell’s hottest nightclub, where it’s “Ladies’ Night and the feeling’s right” - and all of your favourite female villains have gathered to hang up their broomsticks and poisoned apples, and kick up their heels for a night of wicked celebration. This is a frightful reunion of some of the evilest women from musical theatre including Ursula, Miss Hannigan, Mrs. Lovett, Audrey II, and the Heathers as well as villainesses from film and literature including Maleficent, Lady Macbeth, Cruella de Vil, Medusa, and more! This hilarious and twisted musical revue features villainous Broadway favourites likes “Pulled”, “Little Girls”, and “Cellblock Tango”; as well as dark twists on showtunes like “Comedy Tonight”, “Freak Flag” and “My Favourite Things” and pop songs from some of your favourite artists across the decades including “Born This Way”, “Evil Woman” and “Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”.

Dress up in your finest cocktail attire and join us for a devilishly delicious three-course dinner before the show with your choice of entrée - beef, chicken or vegetarian - provided by the Wave. Be sure to try one of our deliciously sinful cocktails and bid on one of the exciting prize packages in our silent auction. This darkly delightful dinner and spectacle is available for only $55 with all proceeds supporting the continuation of MTP’s mission to nourish local talent and inspire a passion for musical theatre.

Following in the footsteps of our Broadway to the Max! and last year’s Show Off: 30 Years of Musical Theatre, SOMETHING WICKED comes to steal the spotlight June 24-27, 2020, at the Wave, University Community Centre (2nd Floor), Western University.  Doors open at 5:30pm with dinner service beginning at 6:00pm. Seating is general admission at banquet tables with priority seating for dinner guests. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions. A cash bar will be available as well. Paid parking is available on Western campus at the Springett, Weldon Library or Social Sciences lots, with signs directing you to the University Community Centre.
