Learn from theatre professionals at The Grand Theatre.
This March, The Grand is holding a week long theatre intensive program for teens. The week will allow students the opportunity to experience both the performing and the production side of theatre. Students will be given the chance to work in a professional theatre setting and will be mentored by well known and respected professionals in Canadian theatre.
The week will provide a creative atmosphere for students to learn and grow in their respective fields of interest. They will be able to further develop their skills and absorb practical knowledge about working in the theatre. Programs being offered include Broadway Songs, Dance, Lighting Design, Directing, Monologues, and Design Concepts. The students may choose to mix and match performing classes with production classes or pursue the performance or production stream.
The week will conclude with an audition session where participants will perform and receive feedback from a panel of theatre professionals.
