PlayWrights Cabaret

January 20 & 21, 2017
McManus Studio Theatre

The ever popular PlayWrights Cabaret returns! Over the past fifteen years, this event has grown while keeping at heart the purpose of showcasing the work of local writers through  staged readings in the McManus Studio Theatre.

The Grand Theatre has invited writers from London and the surrounding area to submit short works. Playwrights whose scripts are selected take part in workshops that allow them to further explore the character, story, theme, style, or anything else that might come out of the workshop process. A revised version of their script is then performed as part of a two-day event celebrating the talent of our local playwrights.

Don't miss this ever-popular series!
