Footloose leaps onto the stage with energetic dance and musical hits of the 1980s! Footloose tells the story of Ren, who is forced to move from big-city Chicago to small-town Bomont with his mother. Prepared to adjust to life at his new high school, Ren encounters more than he bargained for in the form of a dancing ban and a new-found admiration for the local preacher’s daughter. Ren searches for a way to overturn the ban, working together with his new friends. Featuring the onstage and behind-the-scenes talents of London and area high school students, this upbeat ‘80s musical features such memorable favourites as “Holding on for a Hero”, “Let’s Hear it for the Boy”, “I’m Free” and, of course, “Footloose”.
