Recently she has designed for Neptune Theatre (Romeo and Juliet), The Charlottetown Festival (Anne, Buddy, Hairspray), Theatre Aquarius (Doubt, Half Life), Obsidian Theatre/ Canadian Stage Company/Citadel (Intimate Apparel), and Canadian Opera Company Ensemble (Cosi Fan Tutte). She has also designed with Globe Theatre, Opera Ontario, Toronto Operetta Theatre, Lighthouse Festival, Canadian Opera Company, and Stratford Festival. Recent touring designs have taken her to Venezuela, Hawaii and Japan. Renée graduated from York University with a BFA in Theatre Design. She is a member of Associated Designers of Canada.

SOUND DESIGNER
Mr. Neil came to the Grand Theatre in 1983 after a very successful career as a professional musician. Since that time he has designed, built, and operated over 190 productions as Head of Sound here at The Grand.
For the last 13 years Mr. Neil has also been a Sound Designer for the Stratford Festival, where he has worked on over 30 shows including the current season’s productions of Evita and Peter Pan.
Mr. Neil would like to thank IATSE Local 105 for giving him the freedom to pursue his career as a sound designer.
